Hey guys, in this video, I’m going to reveal 17 ways that you can promote your affiliate links for free. I’m going to give you examples of a few. You’re probably going to hear people in the background. That’s just the reality of my situation. I got three kids, I’ve got a wife, I’ve got a dog.
They’re going to be in the background. So if you hear it, it is what it is. I’m going to try and keep it to a minimum if possible. But what’s most important. Are these 17 different ways. If you want me to elaborate and create a dedicated video for one of these methods comment down below. Also, I am launching a community to help people earn affiliate commissions with YouTube.
It will be a paid community. It’s going to start off at 3 per month. I made it super affordable for as many people as possible. And it’s really designed to help everybody get up and running. And so I want to try and help you start earning affiliate commissions with YouTube comment down below.

I’ll reply with a link so that you can join, but I just want to give you a real quick rundown of everything that’s included. Before we get into these 17 different ways that you can promote your affiliate links, there’s a three phase system that.
I’ll reveal on how you can get started with YouTube affiliate marketing, how you can scale and how you can start earning your first commissions. I’m going to reveal case studies of people that are already doing this, both of small channels and various niches. I’m also going to do YouTube channel audit.
So if you have a YouTube channel and you are struggling to get commissions, I’ll break that down and I’ll tell you why. There’ll be one new training every single month and it’ll come ready made with planners, workbooks. Templates everything that you need to get up and running. We’re also going to include video editing for adobe premiere pro Which is primarily what I use as well as cap cut i’m actually going to have expert guests come in as well to offer tips on photo editing video editing thumbnails everything really that you need to be successful with youtube and then you’re going to get behind the scenes of my video ideas on the videos that have gone over a million views and then I’m actually going to have three videos based on equipment to use based on price.
So if you’re interested in that, I know that was a long kind of like sales pitch, I apologize. There’s a lot included comment down below in or interested. And once it’s ready, maybe later today or tomorrow, I’ll provide a link. But anyway, let’s get into these 17 different ways. Number one is with Facebook reels.
Now the first three ways I think I can combine together a Facebook reels, Facebook groups, other people’s groups, and Facebook, your own group. So what you’re going to do, at least with these first two ways, if we go over to Facebook and a lot of people do Facebook wrong. Okay. A lot of people, let’s use a Facebook group.
For example, I’m just going to go into. A Facebook group that I’m a part of. A lot of people will let me see if I can just find a group affiliate marketing and make money online. A lot of people do these groups wrong and they fail miserably and they wonder why they can’t make money. So if we look at this, what’s this person doing?
What is this person doing? If we scroll down, what is this person doing? If we keep scrolling, what is this person doing? You’re going to hear a common theme. What is this person doing? You’re going to hear a common theme. If you add value, if you help solve problems and you’re generally helpful, you will make money.
You’ll make money on accident. Like people will just hand you money and you’ll be like where did this money come from? Anyway, most people do Facebook groups wrong so what you want to do is if someone asks a question and you can usually search and find questions like type in who, what, when, where, why, how, or just scroll through and look for people that are genuinely asking for help.
What you’re gonna do is you’re going to answer the questions You’re not going to spam. You’re not going to throw in an affiliate link. What you’re going to do instead is when people see that you are actually genuinely being helpful, they’re going to click on your little avatar. They’re going to want to learn more thrive together.
I want to know what they are. And here’s where the magic happens, what we’re going to do. And I’ll show you mine in a second. I’m going to turn this into kind of like a landing page. My landing page is going to state who I am, what I do and how I help people. And when people see this, they’re going to click because this is a clickable image, they’re going to click.
And this is where the magic happens. Remember what this is bad. This is something that a lot of people do and it’s wrong, but look at this. Okay. Now, if we look at mine. Let’s see if I can do mine here. Oops. That’s not right. Let’s go new tab here. If we look at mine, I’ve got my picture here.
I’ve got my name, who I am, what I do, and how I help you. Now, the one thing that I should do, I could do is add a, Like a button that says click here, but when people click, you see how it goes to my school community. This could be to a landing page. This could be to a free gift that you give away and then embed affiliate links in that free gift.
But this is the right way to do it. Okay. The right, the wrong way to do it is to jump in here and just start spamming stuff. What you want is a picture of yourself to show that you are a human, you’re a real person, and then simply who I am, what I do, and how I can help you. You simply will make this over in Canva for free, and then you can answer questions in your different Facebook groups or with Reels.
Now if we look at this, if we just stumbled across one of my Reels that did well what’s going to happen is, They’re going to click. Boom. Oh, okay. Austin Godbold, online business coach. Who I am, what I do, and how I can help you. Okay. I can make this down to maybe two lines. And then have a, like what looks like a button.
And people click. They see this. Then they can click and go to my school community. Now this again can be a lead magnet that you give away for free. Included in that lead magnet. And you can see that there are eight people that have given this a thumbs up. Or a like, all so that is the first two Facebook reels, Facebook groups other people’s groups.
The third way is with Facebook, your own Facebook group. One of the benefits of Facebook and Facebook groups is that they’re free. Okay. And you can create as many Facebook groups as you want. Now this is one of my Facebook groups. What you can do is create a Facebook group where you’re offering value and information.
You’re doing reels and whatever. What you can do is you can pin what you’re doing. different posts here and you can pin a post to a product or service that you recommend. What I would do is I would ultimately every so often create a post about a product or service that’s relevant to your other, to your niche.
That’s the other problem people have is they want to create content on the easiest, Niche to get into and then they want to try and funnel people over to make money online Stay within your niche their affiliate products or every single niche But anyway, as you can see you create helpful posts you engage with the community and then you have these pinned Posts up here.
So anytime they come to the group, they see this pin post You can reach out to people and ask them questions and help them out. Okay, so That is number three, your own Facebook group. Number four is with YouTube. You can earn, certainly earn affiliate commissions with YouTube. The best way is with long form long form posts.
Can you do it with shorts? Yes, but it’s a little bit more difficult, but really you’re going to follow a similar process. If we went over. Let’s go to my channel. For example, we’re simply going to identify questions that people are asking with related to the product or service or niche that you’re getting into.
And there’s a few different places that you can put affiliate links. You could put affiliate links right here inside the description of every single post. You can also put affiliate links here in the. About section now, I only have one link and I recommend that you only have one one link Don’t do link tree will decrease your conversions people ask.
Why am I not making money? I look you’re using link tree That’s why and simply put you’re somebody’s gonna ask why not link tree for every option you give someone? You are making them make a decision, which takes more time, which offers confusion, and it reduces the chances of them taking an action.
We want them to take an action. Oftentimes, my action I want them to take is to join my mailing list, but if you only have one bite at the apple, you’re not doing email marketing, have one link. And that one link might be giving away a free PDF. But have them take one action. So within YouTube, you’ve got a couple different things you can do again, create videos about the product service or niche, which I’ll talk about when, if you join the community you can add an affiliate link here.
What you can also do is you can simply answer questions in other people’s YouTube channels. So one thing that you can do is let’s say I was in the like woodworking niche. I’m just going to type in woodworking. You can do this with anyone. I’m in the woodworking niche. I go and find all of the channels that are related to woodworking.
So let’s say this guy. Stumpy nubs. Interesting name. I’m going to subscribe to his channel and then I’m going to ring the bell notification. So anytime he makes a post, I get notified that he’s making a post. Now what I’m going to do is I’m simply going to comment. I’m going to answer questions. I am not going to spam my link.
One thing that you guys. Hopefully you realize is I don’t have spam on my YouTube channel because I filter all of that stuff out, answer the question or ask questions or even say, Hey, I was watching your video and I liked it. What you said about at minute one 30, about whatever it is, and actually offer substance and value.
Okay. What’s gonna happen is, once again let me see. Does this one not have any comments? I don’t like how they changed the YouTube thing either, by the way. Where do I find the comments? That’s, this is dumb. Sorry, . I forgot that this isn’t gonna be edited, but let’s say. Let’s say this one had comments.
I don’t even know where to find the comments. All right, let’s go. Let me go back to my channel. Let’s go to this video. Where are the comments?
This is dumb way to like prevent engagement. Oh, it’s all the way down here. So let’s say I wanted to enter a substantive comment. And honestly, when people comment on my videos, this is what I do. I will click and I will look at their channel. And since there’s nothing on their channel, It tells me all I need to know.
And so what you can do is you can offer value and substantive information and then have stuff on your channel. This is how you can get more views. This is how you can get more subscribers. You simply answer questions on other people’s YouTube channel and then where you have the about section here, you simply state who you are, what you do, and how you can help.
Okay, hey, I’m Austin Godbolt. I’m an online business coach and I help people make money. Then if you’ve got a link, you can put the link here. And that’s a very simple way. The next is with email marketing. Email marketing, I say is technically not free. You’ve got to pay usually for the email subscription, but you don’t have to pay for emails once you get them.
Cause those are yours until the person unsubscribes. Just a quick note on email marketing, please stop auto replying to people when they sign up. Okay, so one thing that I have happened is I’ll have people sign up with a gmail account and with gmail you can auto Reply whenever someone sends an email.
So if I send an email out to my email list I’ll have a handful of people auto reply. I’m not reading it. I’m not clicking on those links. So stop doing that. If that’s something you’re doing cause you’re just wasting your time, energy and effort. So email marketing nexus, Pinterest, I really like Pinterest.
And the cool thing with Pinterest is you can simply automate this. Now the right way to do Pinterest is to create Pinterest pins and then send them to a blog post or another piece of content. Pinterest is one of the only platforms that is okay with you sending people outside of the platform. So let me see if I can just log in here real quick.
I don’t remember what my username or password is. We’ll just have to skip that for a second. Anyway, what you can do, I’m just gonna type in I’m going to type in affiliate marketing like this. And okay. So you see all of these pins here. One pro tip is to use video pins and do idea pens. You can put your links in idea pins now, but let’s say we’ll click on this one, the next step, if someone wants to learn more, they will click on this right here.
And it’ll take them to a blog post. So you could actually have a free blog post. We’ll talk about that in just a moment. I recommend paid blog posts because you can actually control, you have more control over it, but you can see here that this is exactly what this person is doing is they’ve created Pinterest pins and they potentially have affiliate links that are going out to different places.
Now you can use a software called tailwind to help automate this process with tailwind. I think you can send out maybe 300 pins per month, which comes out to maybe five a day or something like that. But anyway, you simply will create Pinterest pins. You can create multiple Pinterest pins for each piece of content.
So for example, if I have this blog post right here, I can create five or 10 Pinterest pins as long as they’re different that point to this blog post. Okay. Let me know if that makes sense. But Pinterest is a great way to get traffic. I like Pinterest because you can rank these Pinterest pins on YouTube or excuse me, on Google.
Which is really important after Pinterest, we have Reddit. Now, Reddit is the front page of the internet basically with Reddit’s like Facebook groups without filters, okay? It’s they’re like Facebook groups without training wheels. And what you can do with Reddit, there’s a bunch of different subreddits, which are online communities for literally anything that you can think of.
People are going to be asking questions. You do not absolutely do not put your affiliate links inside of the answers. It’s going to be, whoops, it’s going to be much like it’s going to be much like the Facebook method. Okay. But except this time, you are going to create your own subreddit in order to get your own subreddit.
You need to get what’s called karma. And that’s basically points for posting and points for answering. So what you can do, If we come back over here, I might have to filter some of this stuff out because like I said, Reddit is unfiltered. What you can do is you can type in your niche. Type in your niche.
Where did Reddit go? Here we go. And we can just say affiliate marketing. Hit enter. And you’re going to see all of these different communities related to affiliate marketing. Why does LastPass keep doing this? You can join these communities. But do not spam your affiliate link. Okay. You’re going to want to answer questions and it’s very simple.
So if we scroll down this user right here, let’s say they’re offering value. We can click on it and we can learn more about this person. We can create an overview where we talk about who we are. What we do and how we help people. Okay. And then you’re going to want your own subreddit community that you can control.
Once again, with the subreddit communities, you’re going to offer value and helpful information in your niche, and then you can offer affiliate links as well. So Reddit is still a really good place. It’s one of the top 10 websites in the world. Everybody goes to it. It can be very helpful.
Another thing you can do is with Quora. Quora there’s my dog. Quora is a question and answer site. And I actually don’t have it on here so instead of 17 it’s going to be 18. Okay. Quora essentially is a place where people go to ask and answer questions. Now the way that I use Quora is I will Answer questions and then send them off to other pieces of content like a YouTube channel or a blog post.
You absolutely cannot put your affiliate links inside of Quora. You’ll get banned. They’ll get, your answers will get deleted. So what you can do is you can go to you can type in your niche. This there’s two ways to do it. The hard way, the tedious way is this way. Type in your niche, affiliate marketing,
go down to, Questions, find questions within the last week and start answering the questions. Now inside, you can see here, this person has different links. I don’t know where they go. Now, what I would recommend that you do is send people to a blog post, a YouTube video. Maybe if you have a free PDF that you’re giving away, send people there.
Do not include affiliate links where your answers are going to get deleted and you’re going to get banned. This is a method that I used very early on when I was getting started. The other way to use Quora is a paid method, but I’ll talk about it quickly. There’s a paid keyword research tool that I use called Ahrefs.
And with Ahrefs, A H R E Fs, however you want to pronounce it, you simply can go to, you can log in and then look up the website URL. So like Quora. And then you can look and see which questions they rank on the first page for. If I slide this over here now again, this is not a freeway. It is a highway.
Quora. com. It’s a dad joke. Quora. com. Go to the keywords here.
Now Quora is like Reddit, but Quora is like Reddit with one training wheel. So you can always lean over if you start to lean the wrong way, there’s some things on here that shouldn’t probably be seen or talked about, but you’ll find a mixed bag here. And the reason why I’m doing that is I’m giving you a heads up because that’s just how it is.
So what we can do is we can search by keyword. Like this. Oh no. We want to search by keyword. So we can type in affiliate marketing, click apply, and then we can do a position. So we want to be, we want to see the search results of where rank Cora ranks in the top five positions for the affiliate marketing keyword.
So show results. So if we look position five affiliate marketing program, so to test this theory. We’re going to copy the keyword, go over to incognito mode, paste it in, and Quora should be in the top five. So if we look, you can see Reddit ranks up here. That’s why Reddit’s so powerful. I’m not seeing Quora, which is interesting.
Outbrain, getResponse, SimRush. I’m not seeing Quora, but let me, let’s slide this over here like this. Let’s see if we can find another one. Quora affiliate marketing. Hopefully they rank for their own thing here. Slide this back over and I’m going to paste this in and give this a try. So you can see here, excuse me Quora affiliate marketing.
How do I earn? So you would simply just find all of these that rank. This isn’t actually a good example, but you would find ones that rank. On the first page and then you would simply just answer those questions. So you would go into the Quora, answer those questions. Okay. And one thing, so you can see Reddit there again.
One thing that you want to do is you want to get upvotes. If you get upvotes, so right here is Quora. Once you’re inside, you’re going to answer questions, and you want people to give you upvotes. If you, the more upvotes you get, the higher you will appear at the top of the answer, which will get seen by more people.
You get enough upvotes and comments about your answer, Quora will send out an email with your answer. To people that were interested in a question, that question or similar questions. So Quora can be really powerful. I don’t know how well it works because of AI because Quora has an AI feature now, so I don’t know how well it works, but it was something that worked out very well for me in the very beginning.
Next, we have LinkedIn blog posts. Okay. LinkedIn has a feature where you can write blog posts. LinkedIn is free to join. And so essentially you can write blog posts and embed your affiliate links in blog posts. One of the cool things with LinkedIn is that their answers also rank on Google so that you can.
Essentially use the power. What you’re doing here is you’re using the power and the authority of LinkedIn, of Pinterest, of Reddit to rank on Google and be seen by people that are interested in your niche. And you’re simply just going to answer questions there. LinkedIn also has groups. And so you can go into LinkedIn groups.
And once again, we are going to follow a similar format that I mentioned before. You are not going to go in these groups and spam. So we can see all of these different groups. You can join these groups and it’s a very similar format. People that are helpful. You always want to like spy on them. Hey, who are they?
What are they talking about? And boom, just like that, you can see that you can learn more about them. Okay. And then, and here you can have, you can see he’s got a link here. You could have one or two blog posts and then include links. And before you know it, you have the potential to start making money. Now, again, you’re using the power of these different platforms, the authority of these different platforms.
Now I should stop and say, this is going to take consistency and persistence. You are not going to do this overnight. Okay. Basketball virtuoso. This is not going to go. These methods that I’m revealing to you aren’t going to take you to zero to 10, 000 per month in two weeks. Okay. This is going to take consistency and persistence.
You’re neat. You’re going to need to pick one of these methods that I’ve mentioned and do it every single day. And some instances, multiple times per day, Pinterest, multiple Pinterest pins, Reddit, multiple answers LinkedIn groups, Facebook groups, multiple Posts per day or answering multiple questions per day.
So just understand that everything that I’m talking about before I continue, I should let you know, everything that I’m talking about is going to take more than just two weeks. You’re going to have to be consistent and persistent with this for it to work. If you do this for two days and then say Alston’s a liar, it’s not going to work for you.
Twitter, or X, I still call it. I still call it Twitter, but if we look on Twitter, what’s really interesting is that I thought I was signed it, but what you can do, I don’t know, Twitter, all of these questions with Twitter, people are asking questions like where to find, I don’t want to do that right now.
So like we can type in where to buy. Now, this again is going to take a bunch of your time. People are asking like where to buy latest, where to buy. So people are asking where to buy. You simply will go do the research, figure out where to buy. If it has an affiliate program, boom, you simply will reply with that.
Okay. Another thing you can do is you can create video content inside of Twitter. I’ve been going live inside of Twitter for a while now. Can I profile? So if we look here, these are all posts. Actually, this is an old post, but, um, I was live. So two things, one, these are Twitter reels. I guess they’re called, I just repost them from other platforms.
But with this, I was live. I could put a link down somewhere around here if I wanted to. But you can upload video content. You can go live. You can get in front of people. Okay. Another way Instagram is big and there’s a few ways that you can do Instagram. Now, admittedly, I have never been great at Instagram because I’ve considered it as more of an afterthought.
Instagram reels. You can make Instagram reels much tick tock and Facebook reels. One thing that you can do is you can send auto DMS. So if we go back over here on some of my posts, I will say on one of my posts, Let me see if I can find it. Oh, this is the one where I was getting my tires fixed.
And so I had this post here, ever thought I need to find a way to make more money without picking up a second job. And then it says read the caption. I’ve got this long caption here. The caption says, DM me social. I, people that are interested, they will DM me social. And then I’ve got this software called mini chat.
Many chat that will auto DM people. And what’s really cool about this, it there’s a free level first. That’s really cool. But what’s really cool about it is a lot of these conversations I’ve never logged into. So let me see if I can find one, this guy. Okay. Let me see if I can find one. I don’t know.
I don’t see one. Where are they? Maybe under general? I don’t know, somewhere. There. Hey, you’re looking for the free masterclass. This is a mini chat post that I never logged into. And this person, again, is talking about something. And I send out another, hey, are you looking for a masterclass? And so that’s the power of mini chat.
And then the other cool thing, It’s a it’s a sanctioned and approved by Instagram is once you send out a message it’ll reply to the post or comment that says message sent. And it took all of five minutes to set this up. Let me know if you guys want me to do that. I’ll run through the process of what I had to do and I’ll show you how to do that.
Instagram’s another good one. One thing that you should do, and I absolutely do not do this, is engage with other people within your space. I absolutely do not spend any time on Instagram. In fact, this is the most amount of time I’ve spent on Instagram in a long time. A lot of what I do is reposting from other platforms.
I’ve gone live on Instagram, but I use a software that connects like four or five different platforms together with Instagram. You can actually put links in your description here or in your profile. As you mentioned again, who you are, what you do. how you can help them. Okay. Very simple process.
So after Instagram, you can do medium. I am not a huge fan of using other people’s platforms, but let me tell you how I’ve stumbled across medium in the last couple of days. In the last couple of days, I’ve typed in something like best books for I think writing V S Ls. Now, if we scroll down a little bit, One of the answers.
So look at this. So LinkedIn, someone wrote five books that will help you masters make your copy stronger. There’s probably affiliate links in here. That’s one of the ways that we caught topic talked about Reddit. Another way that we talked about these are regular blog posts. I didn’t include blog posts because you, it costs money to start a blog, but one, I can’t find it.
But. Medium. So right here, how to write a great video sales letter script formula. This guy actually has a book, Jim Edwards on how to write copy. I think it’s called the copywriting secrets. Quora is down here as well. So what I’m telling you guys actually works in real time. So if we scroll down here, Jim Edwards, I think wrote the book.
If we look, You could put links in here. Okay. You can put links in here. I’m not a huge fan of using these types of platforms because they’re making money off of you and you’re not getting any bit of that, but medium can work. It ranks on Google as well. Tiktok. Tiktok can work you don’t necessarily need a thousand followers.
Having a thousand followers makes it easier to put your link in, but Tiktok can work. I earned affiliate commissions on Tiktok before they allowed affiliate, before they allowed any links, so I know that it works. It works really simple. On Tiktok, it’s going to be a little bit different. These other places you are creating content, which is search engine optimized.
So based on keywords, things of that nature with Tik TOK, you’re creating content on dreams, challenges, pain points, and problems. So you’re going to be speaking to that because most people on Tik TOK, their awareness level is really low. They don’t know they have a problem. And so you’re making them aware that they have a problem.
And once they’re aware of that, you can help them out. Next are forms. Forms are still really popular. So we could say something like basket weaving forms.
Basket weaving forums.
You can see there’s bushcraft, USA forums. You simply would jump in, answer questions, solve problems, be helpful. Don’t be a spammer. I am never a proponent of people spamming. It will not work for you. But if we look at This person has a question or answered it, but if we take a closer look at them, you can see that, Oh, I gotta be logged in, but you can see, you can have a profile within that profile.
You can put in a free PDF that you’re giving away inside of the PDF. You simply would include your affiliate links. And just like that, you can potentially start earning affiliate commissions. Next is using a website called the gum road. Now, when you use Gumroad, you’re going to have to use it in conjunction with another platform.
You still have to get traffic. With Gumroad, you can upload PDFs, you can upload files, you can embed your affiliate links in those files, excuse me and then you can actually sell them here, but you still need to get traffic. So you’re going to have to use one of these other platforms to get traffic.
Another great thing that you can do is you can actually do this inside of school. A lot of people are spammers inside of school. Don’t be a spammer because no one buys from spammers. The wrong thing to do, and I’m seeing this a lot in my school community is people will come in here once they get approved to join, they will just automatically say, join my WhatsApp and within minutes I’ll have 20 people report you.
So don’t do that. Instead, join a community. Offer value, be helpful. And when you do that, people are going to click, Hey, what’s what’s Kimberly all about? And then with, within this, you could actually put a link. You can put a link. Let me just show you mine. So let’s say let me see if I can find one.
Is it school community? I’m going to type in Alston volt. So if you’re not successful online, ask yourself this question. People would say, Hey, who in the heck is this guy? And what is he talking about? And if we look at this, but look right down here, you see this is a link. This link could go to a PDF that you’re giving away.
It can go to your other social media platforms. As you can see here, I don’t think I have LinkedIn. Can I, Oh, I guess I do. It can go to a Google sheet that you’re giving away or Google doc or PDF, whatever. Instagram. So you simply, all you have to do is answer questions and be helpful. People will find, like I said in the very beginning, if you are helpful, people will just throw money at you.
They will find a way to just give you money. And you’ll be like, where’d this money come from? And you just won’t, like people will reach out to you. Hey, I see that you’re really helpful. I see that you have engaged and offer value. How can I work with you? How can I learn more and so on?
So yeah, so join school communities. Don’t be a spammer. Don’t be a scammer. Join these different communities and you can put a link in your profile. So if I click on edit profile I can social links. Look at that right there. Social links. I also believe that you can and then you can also put in your bio who you are, what you do and how you can help people.
Okay. How cool is that? I don’t, there’s another, there’s a place that you can add in that affiliate link as well. I don’t really remember where it is right now but you can do it. Okay. So that’s cool. We talked about forums gumroad in the final way actually is with Amazon. Yes, right on Amazon’s platform So if we go to amazon.
com and I don’t think a lot of people realize this but you can do live Videos within Amazon and all sorts of stuff. Now, let me see if I can find it. Maybe I can just search live
Anyway, this is the one time and it’s probably because I’m not actually logged in but this is the one time that I cannot find Alive, whoops. Let me let me switch my accounts here because I’ve got a couple different Amazon accounts Switch accounts.
Why is last pass keep doing this? I don’t like I don’t understand why this is happening so I’ve got a Undo this. Amazon. com sign in. Yeah. Last pass is getting on my last nerve. All right. So I’m logged into my other account where I buy stuff. And you can actually run ads, which is weird now that you can run ads on Amazon.

It can be any products. And when people click and buy, you can earn a commission, but those are the 18 different ways to make money for free.
