Monetize Your TikTok Or YouTube Channel In 7 Days!
There’s no shortage of videos online claiming you can make easy money with just a few clicks. One of the latest methods making the rounds? Getting paid to watch Google ads.
Sounds too good to be true, right? That’s exactly what I wanted to find out.
In this post, I’m breaking down my real experience testing a video that claimed you could make $1.45 just by watching ads. I’ll show you:
✅ What the original video promised
✅ What actually happened when I tried it
✅ Why this method is NOT worth your time
✅ A much better way to make real passive income
Let’s dive in.
The Promise: Get Paid to Watch Ads
The original content creator behind this method claimed that you could:
1️⃣ Go to a specific website (revealed at the end of their video)
2️⃣ Click on a few ads
3️⃣ Watch for 30 seconds
4️⃣ Get paid real money—in this case, $1.45 per ad
Sounds simple enough, right? But as soon as I tested it, red flags started popping up.
What Actually Happened When I Tried It
The first red flag? The website gives you 1,000 coins just for signing up. That might sound great, but in my experience, when a site throws free points at you right away, it’s often just a tactic to keep you coming back.
Here are the main issues I found with this method:
🚩 1. You Get Paid in Coins, Not Cash
Instead of receiving actual money, you’re paid in a made-up currency (coins) that you must convert into USD. And surprise—the conversion rate is terrible.
🚩 2. There’s a Daily Limit
Even if you wanted to grind this out, you can only watch a limited number of ads per day. Once you hit the cap, you’re stuck waiting for the next day.
🚩 3. The Ads Often Don’t Work
Many ads simply wouldn’t load or counted as incomplete—meaning no coins earned. I had to refresh multiple times, click again, and waste even more time.
🚩 4. The Earnings Are Laughably Low
- I started with 1,155 coins (~$0.11 USD)
- After watching 13 ads, I ended up with 1,320 coins (~$0.13 USD)
- That means I earned just $0.02 for 8 minutes of clicking ads
Even if I did this every day for a month, I’d barely make $0.60 per hour—and that’s assuming all the ads actually worked!
🚩 5. Cashing Out Is a Nightmare
The platform only allows you to withdraw in Bitcoin, and with terrible conversion rates, it would take forever to reach the minimum payout.
Is This Worth Your Time? NO. Here’s Why.
Let’s do some quick math:
⏳ 8 minutes of watching ads = $0.02
💸 1 hour = ~$0.15 (assuming everything works smoothly, which it doesn’t)
Even if you did this for 10 hours straight, you’d only make about $1.50—not even enough for a coffee.
This method isn’t passive income—it’s a waste of time.
A Better Way to Make REAL Passive Income
If you actually want to make money online, here’s what I recommend instead:
✅ 1. Create YouTube Shorts on High-Demand Topics
- Find popular software that people search for, like Canva, Microsoft Excel, or Windows tips.
- Create short tutorial videos (even if they’re just 30–60 seconds long).
- Monetize with:
- YouTube Partner Program (Ad Revenue)
- Affiliate Marketing (Promote tools like Canva & get commissions!)
- Selling Digital Products (Templates, guides, etc.)
💡 Example: A 53-second video on Canva got 27,000 views, and the creator only had 1.8K subscribers. You don’t need a huge following—just valuable content.
✅ 2. Leverage Affiliate Marketing
Instead of wasting time watching ads, you can get paid to recommend useful products:
- Sign up for programs like Amazon Associates, Canva Affiliates, or ClickBank.
- Create simple content around popular tools.
- Post them on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or a blog.
- Earn commissions whenever someone signs up.
🚀 Example: If you make one short Canva tutorial that gets 10,000 views, a small percentage of people will sign up through your link. You could easily make $100+/day without clicking a single ad.
✅ 3. Sell Simple Digital Products
If you know how to use Canva, Excel, or any other tool, create and sell basic templates or guides that people need.
💡 Examples of Digital Products You Can Sell:
✅ Social media templates (for Canva)
✅ Printable planners (Etsy)
✅ Microsoft Excel budgeting spreadsheets
✅ Resume templates for job seekers
Once you create a digital product once, it can sell forever—that’s true passive income.
Final Verdict: Don’t Waste Time Watching Ads
If you take one thing away from this, let it be this:
Spending 8 minutes making $0.02 isn’t passive income. Creating content that makes money for years is.
Instead of clicking on ads, use that time to:
✔ Create short videos that get thousands of views.
✔ Promote tools people already need (and earn commissions).
✔ Sell a digital product that pays you again and again.
The choice is yours. But if you’re serious about building a real online income, I’d recommend starting with YouTube Shorts or affiliate marketing.
