This will be the most important video that you ever watch on YouTube on how to make money online. This video will have nothing to do with the X and O’s. It will have nothing to do with keywords and all of that stuff. But if you watch this video all the way through, And you understand what I’m saying, this will change your business and this will change your life forever.
This isn’t hyperbole. This is just a fact. I often meet with clients either on a one on one session or weekly coaching, um, or they buy a coaching package. And oftentimes they are frustrated. They’re angry. They’re annoyed. Because they’re not making any money online. Um, they’re not making money online or they’re not making money consistently online.
And I noticed a common theme. People that aren’t making money online share this common trait. They are putting up below average content. And whenever I ask them about it, they believe, they say that they’re putting up content as good, if not better than their competitors. And when we look at their content, the content’s not good.
It is a mixture of buy, buy, buy, buy, buy. Why haven’t you bought yet? They’re sending out emails, just trying to get you to buy. And I will look, I’ll let me give you a perfect example. I met with this woman, um, a few months ago, we actually stopped meeting because she didn’t like what I was telling her. We met, I met with her a few months ago and she said.
I can’t make money online. I don’t know why I’m not able to make money online. It’s just not working. I said, okay, let’s, that’s fine. Let’s look at your content. She had a YouTube channel. She was, uh, doing Pinterest. She was doing a blog. She had a bunch of different things going on. And when I looked at her content, it was bad.
It was not good content. And as a coach, you have to try and figure out a way to tell that person gently that the content’s not very good. And so I asked her, I said. Would you buy from you, if you came across this, this content on the internet, on YouTube and you saw this robotic AI voice made with a terrible slideshow, would you buy from you?
And she looked at me, she looked at me through the, the, the, the zoom link. And she said, no. And I asked her, I said, if you’re not willing to buy from you, why would you assume someone that doesn’t know you at all? Why would you assume that they would buy from you? And at that point, she, I think she realized that you can’t just throw anything on the internet and expect to be successful.
And that’s what I want to convey to you. I want you in 2024 and going forward, I want you to start thinking about making money online differently. We’re all customers. And so we know when a piece of content is good. We know when a piece of content is really bad. And we know when a piece of content is just designed to sell us stuff.
And I say all the time on my school community and on YouTube and everywhere and everywhere is you have to identify problems and solve them. You have to provide a value, you have to help your customer. And if you’re making bad content, you’re not helping your customer. You are essentially wasting your time and you’re wasting someone else’s time.
So a pro tip that I would recommend for you is before you upload that next piece of content, before you write that next email or blog post or Pinterest pin, ask yourself. And be honest, would you buy from you? Okay. You know, yourself, you know what you like, you know what you dislike. Would you buy from you?
Now think about it this way. If you saw an email or a text message or a YouTube video from somebody that you don’t know from Adam, and they’re putting up the same piece of crap content, would you buy from them? Okay. You don’t have a relationship with them. You don’t know who they are. You don’t know what their motives are, so you naturally have a higher shield up.
Would you buy from someone that just uploads crap content? So if you wouldn’t buy from some random stranger that you just happen to encounter on YouTube or TikTok or Instagram, why would you think that someone else would do that same thing? It feels like it’s almost a lack of respect for marketing or the customer or the content creation process.
So if you really want to be successful in 2024 and going forward with making money online, and this is for anything, this is for drop shipping, affiliate marketing, digital products, Amazon FBA. If you want to be successful in 2024 and going forward, ask yourself, would you buy? Based on this piece of content.
If the answer is no, throw it in the trash, scrap it, start over. If the answer is yes, and you’re being genuine and honest and, and you’re not convincing or talking yourself into it, then keep it, post it and see what happens. What you’ve got to realize is that, uh, yesterday, my, uh, yesterday on my live stream.
Someone said, Hey, what do you think about scraping emails from like LinkedIn and then sending cold emails out to, uh, the, the emails that you got again, ask yourself, would you first open an email from someone that you don’t know, that you’ve never seen before, that you’ve never opted into before? Would you, would you open that email?
Would you then turn and buy from that person? What are the chances that you would do that? I get hundreds of emails every single day. People, um, even some people I know that I’ve just forgotten that I know them. And so the chances of, or the chances are really, really low that I’m going to buy something from somebody that I don’t know.
The chances are really, really, really, really low of buying something from an random email. Of a person that’s promising me the world. So the overall theme that I want you to adopt in 2024 and going forward is, would you buy from you if you came across the YouTube video or blog post or Pinterest pin or Cora answer, whatever it is, if you came across it in the wild, would you buy from you?
And if the answer is no, don’t post it. Okay, because you’re wasting your time, you’re wasting your energy, and you’re just going to give yourself a little frustration. Okay, the algorithm, the algorithm doesn’t hate you. YouTube doesn’t hate you. TikTok doesn’t hate you. The customers don’t hate you. You got to have respect for YouTube, TikTok, and your customers, and hopefully you’ll make a little bit of money.
Hopefully you’ll make better content. So that’s all I wanted to say on this Friday going forward. Before you upload, would you buy from you? Simple, write it down somewhere, post it wherever you’re going to put content up, or wherever you make content, and I think it’ll open your eyes, and hopefully it’ll change the type of content that you make, hopefully it’ll change the direction that you go when it comes to the content creation process, and hopefully you’re able to make more money.
In fact, let me know, once you have this paradigm shift, what’d you buy from you? Would you consume the content that you’re creating? Once you have that paradigm shift, look at your content and answer yes or no. Would you buy from you? Would you consume the content you’re putting on the internet? Chances are if you’re saying, no, I wouldn’t consume this, this, and this information, this content, I wouldn’t buy from me.
