Play Skool Games, Win Skool Prizes

I’m going to reveal nine reasons why solopreneurs should use Skool as a great way to make money online. Now I have ran all sorts of communities. I have used Kajabi, I’ve used ClickFunnels, I’ve used Mighty Networks. And right now I think Skool is the best place to go. As you can see, I’ve run Facebook as well.
And in this video, I’m going to reveal why I think everyone should be using Skool, especially solopreneurs. Now, one of the first reasons, quite honestly, is Facebook has killed the reach. Essentially they want people to pay in order to play the game. Now, as you can see, I have 3. 2, 000 members, not too shabby for my Facebook group, but my reach is only getting five posts 16 post 15 post 79.
And that’s when I tagged everyone. Okay. If I tag everyone, more than 79 people should see this. And so that’s one of the more frustrating things about using Facebook. In addition, Facebook is incredibly cluttered and crowded. So if you’re using Facebook for your community, if we just scroll here, you can see all of this stuff that’s going on every three posts.
And this can be distracting. It can be overwhelming. In fact, in addition, if we look at, if I just type in woodworking, you can see I’ve done this before. When you type in woodworking and you look at all of the groups that are out there, there are so many woodworking groups. There’s just so much. That you’ve got to fight with a lot of these groups are spam groups where they’re just trying to push their Ted’s woodworking product.
Anyway, if we look, there are so many of these groups out here, but then if we go over to Skool and we type in woodworking and I’ve done this a few times before, so I know whoops, if we go to discover communities and then we type in woodworking like this, you can see that there are only four groups and the two of these four groups are free.
One is a premium. And so there’s. More of a blue ocean. If you take whatever your niche is and you post it here on Skool. Now you might be wondering how do I drive traffic? You still drive traffic with free content, with paid content. You do whatever you’re normally doing on the front end and you just send people to Skool.
Send people to Skool instead of to a free Facebook group. Another great thing to do is to build a community. Now people love to just congregate and get together over similar topics. And so if you can build a community of like minded individuals that talk to each other, this is why one of the bonuses are one of the features or upgrades and every offers a community is because you can get people that are interested in the same thing, talking to each other and you can monetize that you can make money off of that.
For example, we look, if we look into this Adonis gang, you’re going to see. Oh, he changed it. This used to be a free group. You can see here that basically the owner of the group, he isn’t in here a lot. What is happening is a lot of people are talking to each other and they feel they, they feel like they’re connecting and getting value.
And they see the, Owner of the group as the leader, and then they tend to want to work with him. So I encourage you to, if you’re a solopreneur, whatever your niches, start building a group, build a community of people that are interested in the same thing, and that will actually help you make more money.
So that is number one, number two, number three, you can actually build a free community. Now, what you can do is instead of doing email marketing you can essentially create content, whether it’s on LinkedIn, whatever it is, and you send people over to your free community. Okay. And then inside of the free community, you can start nurturing them.
You can actually direct message them, which is another thing that I like. I didn’t mention it, but I didn’t have it in one of my top 10, but. What you can do, which I really if we look at one of my groups here let’s go to monetize social media. This isn’t one of my group. This is a paid group, but if we look at side hustle secrets, there we go side hustle secrets, 500 members.
And what I can do is whenever somebody joins. I can send them a direct message to encourage them to maybe buy something or just start the conversation. So if we look at plugins, I can do membership questions to collect emails which I didn’t include, but I can actually send out a direct message. So whenever someone says, yes, I want to be a part of your community.
I send them a message and say, hello, welcome. What questions you have for me, I answer those questions or maybe get them to the right offer that I have and they can make money. I can start the conversation on autopilot and it’s not something that you can necessarily do inside of other platforms. I know you can’t do it in Facebook.
They might’ve recently added that feature in something like mighty networks, but you can’t do that. Now, another cool thing about the community is that you can have monthly reoccurring revenue. Okay, you can create a paid membership as I showed you with this first group. This first group used to be free Let me go here to discover this first group used to be free and now he’s charging one dollar per month And I want to make sure I don’t cover this.
Okay, so what’s really cool about Skool and This is one of the things that I was going to mention. I’m going to go ahead and just mention it now is that you can actually start off with a free community and then you can convert this one community into a paid community. So he actually has two communities.
The owner of this group, he has this 1 a month one, and then he has a higher ticket one, which I think is like 97 per month. And he can, you can monetize multiple communities. Okay. And so one really cool thing is you can create a paid monthly membership that brings you reoccurring revenue every single month, as long as people remain, as long as people are satisfied.
So who doesn’t like reoccurring revenue? Monthly revenue. One of the challenges of being a solopreneur is that you’ve got to start off at zero every single month. But if you have a paid membership, you’re not starting off at zero. You’re starting off at whatever you had last month minus, some churn or attrition.
The other cool thing is if you do a paid membership, you can actually build out a community of buyers. So these people have felt comfortable spending with you in the past and they’re going to spend with you going forward. Another thing that you can do is you can actually use what, one thing that I’ve done, and I’ll just show you this.
One community that I have, I actually profit from posts. I ran Facebook ads. To this community. I just saw this is weird. I lost my train of thought. But anyway, what I did is I ran Facebook ads to a workshop and then inside of the workshop, I Included the this community so people can join the community.
I like Skool because it’s clean. It’s simple. And easy to use. There’s not a lot of clutter. If we compare this to Facebook, there’s a lot of stuff going on, which is again, distracting. But if we look at this community here, it’s clean, it’s simple. It has like everything that you need to get up and running.
Some lady sent me a message about the video is not being available, but. Anyway I also like that you have this community here where you can schedule stuff and let everybody know what’s going on. Anyway another way that you can do this is you can actually build out a community of high ticket spenders.
So people that are spending 97 a month, maybe that you have in a premium coaching program where you’re giving exclusive access. Maybe the package includes, it’s. Let’s say you’re doing a 2, 000 program and then one of the benefits is using this community. And again, it’s actually going to help you nurture your clients, your customers.
That’s going to help you build out a stronger foundation. Another really cool thing about Skool is it actually affiliate marketing built in. So let’s say you start a Skool community and the people that join your community, they start their own community. And if they start their own community, you could earn reoccurring income in the form of affiliate commissions.
You get paid 40 percent reoccurring for the lifetime that they’re, they have their community. So you essentially could make 40 bucks every single month just by hosting people at your In your community. One, one pro tip is hosted, host your community here on Skool to start earning affiliate commissions.
And everything you can do is you can actually use your community for product ideas. If you’re stuck with coming up with an idea for a product, reach out to the members of your community and ask them. And say, Hey, look what would help you achieve your problem sooner? What would help you solve your problem?
Oh, really cool. People are starting to one drawback of Skool while I am here is unfortunately we will have people just there’s, anybody can post inside of Skool. So you’ll see that people will just pop in and post. What is going on here? I’m just looking at this. Okay. And realizing that this guy, William needs to be deleted and blocked essentially, cause he’s just spamming like crazy.
I’ll show you how to spam, how to remove people. I copy this name like this ban from the group, ban got the band hammer live anyway, so another benefit is that it’s an email marketing alternative. So if I go back to my community and go to side hustle secrets, let me just search for this guy real quick.
And let’s see, I’m just delete this one. You guys are seeing Skool at work, live and in living color. Anyway, what you can do is you can come to your community. We’re going to close this and go here. What you can do is you can send a message out once every day, every 72 hours. And you can actually email them.
So it’ll go straight to their primary mailing inbox. An active inbox because they need to use that inbox in order to sign up for Skool. So you can do like something like if you’ve got an offer that you’re trying to sell, if you’re on a fact finding mission, you simply type out your post and then you can check this right here and then send out an email.
Now remember you can only send one every 72 hours. So you have to be a little strategic. But if we look at this one of the things that I did is I asked my community a poll would you be interested in first I did, would you be interested, which of the two names do you like? Because I was offering I started another paid community for affiliate marketing for YouTube.
And I asked them what name that they want. This helps with buy in this helps getting people to want to buy because they feel like they have ownership in it. And it’s also a subtle way to let people know that you are launching something new. I have another poll on here that I. I wanted to include as well, but I can’t find it right now.
Really cool things that you can do right into in Skool. And the final thing that I want to mention is that you can actually increase the price as you gain more knowledge and experience and content. So what you can do, if I go to settings and instead of Skool and I go to where is it? So this is one of my free community.
This is a free community. So right here under subscriptions, I can add a price of a dollar. And anybody that joins starting today when I make the price change will be charged a dollar. These 508 members will not be charged anything because it only impacts new members. So as I add more courses, as I, increase my knowledge and learn more and I share more, I can actually increase the price, which is really cool.
It’s really difficult to do that on the other platforms, but this is really simple to do it here. But those are my nine reasons. Nine probably turned into 11, but those are the nine reasons that Skool, I think is a great place for solopreneurs. It allows you to do everything in one place too. Okay. So oftentimes you get overwhelmed with trying to do everything in five or six different platforms trying to link things together.
But what Skool that allows you to do everything in one place. Now, again, I do have a 14 day free trial in the description. If you want to get started with Skool go ahead and click that link. When you get started, I’ll actually work with you one on one to help launch your Skool community so that you can start making money.
And let me know if you guys have any questions. Thanks for watching. And I’ll see you in the next video.
