Groups have always been a great way for affiliate marketers to make money earning affiliate commissions. It was a great way to build a community, have a group of like minded individuals where, you know, you could make very good money because you knew exactly where they were, what they were interested in, and you could facilitate a small group of people to earn lots and lots of money.

However, using Facebook is kind of an old outdated practice. And what I’m showing you right now is I’m showing you, I’m just typed in woodworking. And if we take a look, these are all of the different woodworking groups out there. And so Facebook is no longer a great place to build community. You can see I’m just scrolling here and there are tons of groups just dedicated to woodworking, which is seemingly a smaller niche when you compare it to some of the other ones.

In addition, Facebook is just too noisy. If we look at this Facebook page here, if we scroll down, every third post is an ad of some sort. All of this stuff just brings in confusion and distraction. And in this video, I’m going to talk about nine ways that you could actually use Skool in order to make money as an affiliate marketer.

It’s a really cool opportunity. I think it’s a blue ocean right now, and I’m just going to show you real quick before we get up and running. Some of the opportunities out there. So if I just typed in, if I go to discover communities and I type in woodworking like this, you’re going to see that there are four, there are only four woodworking communities.

This one’s ranked, this one’s 39 per month, but you can have a free community. And this ranking here is something that we’re going to talk about in just a moment. But I think. In 2024 and going forward, if you’re an affiliate marketer, one of the best things that you can do for yourself and your community is to create a free Skool group.

And like I said, in this video, I’m going to list nine ways that you can earn more money, make more money from Skool. So let’s go ahead and get into it. The first way is you can simply, whenever you create a brand new community, I’ll just show you with, uh, this one, right? Here, whenever you have a community and someone wants to join, you can ask them different questions.

Now, if we come down to where it says plugins and we look, we can see that we can do two things. We can ask them to do membership questions. And one of the questions is what’s your email. And then you can actually use it to build your email list. A second thing that you can do is you can actually set up an automatic DM.

Now the cool thing with these automatic DMs is that it gets sent out automatically between one and five minutes and you can actually catch a few hot buyers right away if you’re promoting something. Let’s say you are, for this example, let’s say you are in the make money online niche. You get a few hot people that are ready to go.

You can simply send them to your affiliate marketing offer and they can buy right through the DM. It’s also a great way to spark conversation and engagement. The other cool thing with Skool is it offers a little bit more structure. If we look at, um, the chat at level two, this is great feature so that people aren’t just joining your group to spam their telegram or their WhatsApp link.

But the two really most important things that I like is that you can offer a membership question so you can build your email list and if they don’t enter in their email list Email, they don’t get in and you can auto DM new members. And that’s not something you can do over on Facebook. You can do the membership questions, but you can’t send out the auto DM.

And this is a good way to pick up a couple extra sales per day with people that are hot and ready to go, because they’ll get a notification that they’re enrolled and then they’ll get that, that message. The second thing you can do is you can actually build out lead magnets and put your lead magnet.

Right in the classroom. For example, if we look at affiliate marketing starters, I have a lead magnet here of a workbook and I also include a short training on how to do that and what people get value from this. And I can actually include some affiliate links down here, which we’ll talk about later. I give them a workbook.

And I let them know that they can find the workbook right in the community or right in the classroom. They get their lead magnet. You’ve got them in the community. They can check out the community and start engaging. But this is a really simple way to actually start a getting engagement and people talking, but delivering your lead magnet.

You don’t have to necessarily. You don’t have to do email marketing anymore because this is like combining two or three things Um, also I think you can use the community as an exclusive bonus for people that buy Whatever it is that you’re recommending. So let’s say again, you’re in the make money online You got a high ticket course and you can offer a bonus Uh, coaching, weekly coaching inside of the community.

And again, it’s going, the cool thing with bonuses is that it helps differentiate your offer for, from someone else. One of the biggest problems out there is everyone’s essentially offering and promoting the same product or service. But if you can create a differentiating factor, like, Hey, uh, If you buy from me, you get access to me in my community.

Now you can make this a private community so that only members have access to, and then you just tell them, Hey, send me an email. When you sign up, I’ll just verify that you did sign up through me. And it doesn’t have to be a paid high ticket item. It could be any item. And then you use the paid community to upsell them to other items.

That’s a bonus tip that I have for you. So bring people in on anything that they buy, create a private community, and then you can upsell them because you’ve got them all in one place. So I think that’s really cool. Uh, you can also incentivize them with leaderboard. So. If people are engaging with your content, you can offer another exclusive bonus that’s not available anywhere else, whether it’s a course or whether it’s mentorship, something like that.

Um, as I mentioned, you can also include affiliate links within the community. As you can see here, these aren’t all affiliate links, but that’s another thing that you can do. Uh, so you can have courses and training. Maybe you’re teaching people how to make money online with YouTube, and then you’ve got a YouTube course or something.

You can put that right down here. Very clean and easy. It’s not confusing or distracting. And you can’t necessarily do the same thing with a Facebook group. Now, if we look at this, I’ll show you how simple it kind of is to just kind of transition through Facebook group. On Facebook, if they were to join a community, as you can see, I’ve got a community here.

They get to the community and it’s like, Oh, where do I go? Um, how many times have people asked basic questions? Like what do I do? How do I get places within this community? They go over to guides and then under guides, there’s more stuff that they need to kind of navigate through, but it’s much cleaner and easier over here in the classroom.

So. Uh, putting a affiliate links there. Uh, you can also put affiliate links right in here. So let’s say for example, I created this, um, video earlier today. That’s that important must watch. I could simply just embed my affiliate links. If I click edit, put my affiliate links right here. And then when people click and buy, I earn a commission.

Um, I also think another cool thing that you could do is use the calendar feature. Oops, go over one more, go to calendar feature. As you can see I’ve got a few calendar items set up. You could actually create webinars. So, you know, once a week, once a month, whatever you want to do, and you can use those webinars to sell.

Or promote other people’s products. So again, if you’ve got a high ticket item, you can do a weekly, monthly webinar where you get people together and you answer questions, you solve problems, and then you drive them to that high ticket offer. Now, I don’t, I don’t use the calendar feature in, in Facebook. Um, you can, I guess under events.

You know, for me, it’s much easier. It’s much cleaner to use it inside of Skool. The only drawback to Skool is that you have to have zoom or something similar in order to take advantage of this. If I click in here, it’s not an actual video. It’s a link to a zoom community. So that’s one drawback, but I think this is a very simple and easy.

I really like how clean it is. But that’s another way. Okay, another simple way is you can earn affiliate commissions by promoting Skool and having people join your free community So let’s say again You’re in the make money online space and if someone were to join your community who has not joined a community previously And they start a Skool community you earn 40 percent reoccurring Commission.

So if you 40 percent reoccurring of 99 per month is what? 35 something like that You And essentially, if you get three people every single month to, um, start a community and persist with it, and you can help with that by offering coaching and, and, uh, training, you essentially would make a very good living with the Skool community.

Now, obviously, you know, Uh, as you create content, you’ll get better at it over time, but it’s, it’s a very subtle and almost passive way. Start getting that cookie added to your affiliate, uh, to, to the, to the people that join your community. So if they’ve never joined a community before, and you talk about the benefits of starting Skool, and I mean, this will work for anything.

You encourage people to start their own community. They get started after the two week free trial. They start their own and they start paying 99 per month. You start earning commissions there. Um, I think I mentioned this, make sure that you, another cool thing you can do is embed your lead magnet into the classroom.

Uh, yeah, I definitely talked about that before. You can also, um, send out an email to your members every day, every 72 hours. So if you’ve got a promotion or something that you want people to check out, You can simply create a post here and then send out a notification. Let me just show you what that looks like.

Send an email to all members. Now you can only do that once every 72 hours. So you could create a short video or, or a text post. You can almost do like email marketing right in here. And then put in your affiliate links and, uh, check that off. And it will actually get sent out to all 462 members, um, embed product reviews in the community and add affiliate links.

I think I mentioned this, but yeah, you could simply create a video over on YouTube or, um, Zoom or or Vimeo and then put your affiliate links and embed it and just like that you can You can start earning affiliate commissions You can also encourage engagement by offering bonuses. And the reason why you want to encourage engagement is simply because If your community is engaging with one another, it’ll move up the ranks.

Now, for example, if we look at discover communities, these are the communities that rank on the first page of Skool. And so people are looking for assistance. Most likely, if they come to Skool, they’re going to be doing a little bit of searching, and if you show up on the first page, you’re obviously going to increase your reach.

But as I showed you with woodworking, we’ll type in woodworking. Even small communities can have pretty good rankings. Only 169 members. As long as people are talking, that actually will boost your ranking. It’s not based on the size. As you can see, size doesn’t matter when it comes to scSkoolhool communities.

It doesn’t matter. Um, and so you can actually create content. And if people engage, it’ll boost your ranking. Okay. Um, another cool thing you can do is if your Skool is public, it can rank on Google and it can rank in the, in the Skool platform. So what do I mean by that? If we look here, this is a paid keyword research tool.

These are all of the different keywords that Skool ranks for. So if I were to type in, can I bring my dog into Trader Joe’s? In theory, this should rank on the first page of Google. So I’m just going to open this up in incognito mode, and I’ll tell you what that means for you in just a second. Um, not now, but if we look top result here and why is that important?

That’s important because you can create SEO optimized content and show up on the first page of Google. Now, if I click this, And we take a look, even though this group has been archived, you could start growing a community, simply targeting search engine optimized keywords. Now, if we look, this is only rank 30 now, but what’s your niche?

You could come over here. And again, let’s say if your, your niches make money online, we can do like affiliate marketing like this, hit enter. We can come down to matching terms. And then we could simply sort by the keyword difficulty, find things that are zero, click apply, click show results, and now we could potentially start creating content.

Like, what’s the difference between master resale rights and affiliate marketing? Lego Affiliate Program, let’s click on that one and see what this one’s talking about. Um, some rush updates. Medium. Okay. So, um, you could probably outrank, you could probably outrank some of these, which is really interesting.

Um, this tick tock video here is really interesting to me, which might be, um, a driver of traffic, but essentially you could create SEO optimized content. And again, that’s exactly what Some people are doing that’s the angle. Some people are taking, if we look at site explorer once again, whoops, that’s a skit.

Uh, if we took a look at Skool. com once again, and we look at the keywords that ranks for over 50, 000 keywords, which is really crazy. And then we check the position, position one. Now look at this. Um, these are all of the different keywords and that might be an opportunity to find more keywords. So guys, tell me what you think.

Those are nine or 10 reasons or 10, nine or 10 ways that you could actually rank nine or 10 ways that you could use Skool to earn more commissions as an affiliate marketer. Guys, let me know what you think in the comment section. I am open to your suggestions. If there’s one that I missed, let me know.
