Yesterday, I made a video about ten things I hate about Skool. Now, hate is a strong word. I just listed ten things that they could improve on. In this video, I’m going to do the exact opposite. I will list ten things that I like—dare I say love—about Skool and why you should jump on the trend if you’re considering it.

The first one is search engine optimization. What I really like is that Skool can rank on Google. So, if we look at this, for example, this paid keyword research tool helped me do a little bit of research. But if I take this right here, names of businesses, and I copy this, go over to incognito mode, and paste this, in theory, it would be in the fifth position.
These are all ads: 1, 2, 3, 4. It looks like it’s not exact, but if we scroll down here, we should be able to see the Skool community. That has a business name generator. Now, why is that important? If you can rank on Google for different keywords and they’re competitive, that will help Expo expand your reach.
It will help you get more people into your world and your business. Now, for whatever reason, this is not showing up at all, but let’s see if we can find a different one. But look at this: the keywords that this ranks for names of businesses get 1000 searches per month. It says it’s ranked five. Grammarly has remote closing academy Skool pricing.
But what you want to do is you simply will create Content over in your Skool community, whether it’s a blog post or whatever it might be, it ranks, you get more people in your front door. And if you get people in your front door, you can earn money. You can make money. You’re attracting people to you.
But the number one thing I like, one of the things I like is the search engine optimization ability. That’s already built in. And if you’re using something like go high level, Or some of the other platforms out there. It’s not built in a search engine optimization is not built in. And so no matter how hard you try, you can’t rank your communities on Google.
So that’s number one. Number two is the affiliate program. I mentioned that I’m an affiliate. I like this program for a few reasons. One, it’s automatically attached to people that join your community. So what you can do is you can have people join your community. And when they join. When they join your community and if they start their own community, you can get 40 percent commission reoccurring.
So every month they continue on with their community. They continue on with paying 99 per month. You would make 40 percent of that. And what I like about it is that you don’t have to have them click on affiliate link. You just have to have them join your community. So one of the really simple things that you can do is you can gather a bunch of people up, teach them how to use Skool, teach them how to use Skool for their niche.
And you can earn affiliate commissions. It’s really simple. And essentially. You can make Skool free for you if you get about three people to sign up and matriculate on. Essentially the most passive way to do it. Another thing that I like about Skool is that you have the ability to rank your community in Skool.
And I’ve talked about this a few times, but I really like this feature. So if we go to discover communities. You can see that these all have a ranking system. You can see that this Adonis gang ranked number one all the way and the cool thing is you don’t have to be a large group or a large community to rank on the first page and I’ll talk about why ranking is important in just a moment, but 130, 000 members, free group, but look at this one.
This one has 318 members and it’s ranked on the first page of Skool. Again, the reason why this is so cool is because Is if people come here and they are looking for other communities to join, maybe they look at side hustles like this, they type in the keyword and boom, you can essentially rank. Now if we look, I probably should include a description, but you can see that I am ranking this is where I rank for the term side hustle.
My total rank is 783.
And the way that this works is Skool will use the amount of interaction and engagement to, to slot where you are, to rank you. And so the reason why this community is ranked number one is because there is lots of engagement and community and talking. If we look at this, I did a video on the owner of this community a while ago, but if we look at this, all sorts of people just commenting and posting.
And this is why he ranks at the top. And then when people are first coming to Skool, they see the ranking that he’s ranked at the top. Oh, it must be a great group. They join the group. They see all the comments and engagement. Then they move on to his paid stuff. It’s really one of those things that’s really cool to see, but you don’t have to be a large community to rank.
You just have to have engagement. And also one thing that I want to point out is that it’s not all self help make money online. This is a software developer Academy, 15, 000 members. They rank 16. This is about jumping 17. They rank 17, but you can see here. How really cool is that? That all sorts, this guy’s talking about tax free living, all sorts of communities.
Which is really cool. So if we look, this guy’s Barber Accelerator. He’s teaching people how to how to start a business as a barber ranking on the first page because of the community that has been created. But I really liked that feature. It’s a great way to get more people into your world who may have never even heard or saw of you before.
Next, the next reason I like it is that it’s really simple and clean. Okay. One of the problems with Facebook and our Facebook group is it’s just too much going on. Now, if I look at this, I’m going to show you my Facebook group. Here’s a Facebook group that I have with over 3000 members. It’s busy.
Okay. I think there’s a lot going on within this group. And it can be overwhelming and it can be frustrating. Now, if we look at another group, I’m just going to join some show you another group that I’m in. Let’s do, let’s see if we can find one. Let’s grab passive income opportunities. Again, this feels busy and maybe even a little overwhelming.
If we look at Skool and we, and I show you my Skool, it has a very clean and simple design. I can pin a post to tell people where to start. I could say, start here. And then walk them through the process of getting up and running and getting started. But you can see here simple. And I think what will happen eventually, I think we’re probably a little ways off of this, but I think what will happen eventually is we will start seeing him potentially place ads maybe right here or over here somewhere.
But for right now, it’s really simple and it’s clean, very easy. Okay. Okay. The next thing that I really like is the gamification aspect of it. The gamification really helps for members of your community to talk to each other and stay engaged. What you can do is you can unlock more features as they climb up the ranks and you can see right here, I need a thousand points to level up.
As you level up more stuff unlocks and as the owner or creator of the group, you can unlock. more training, more workshops. As you can see at level nine, I have one on one coaching calls, but this really gets people communicating with each other. And the way that you get points is by getting likes on your comments or your content.
So if you post in here and you get likes, you can move up or your members get likes, they move up. And once they, as they move up, they can get access to more features or courses, whatever it might be. So yeah, so this is a really cool feature that. You can take advantage of to keep the conversation going to keep people engaged, which is really cool.
Okay. So next is the next thing that I really like is the calendar. If we come back over here, the calendar aspect. Having a calendar makes it very simple. It shows people what’s going on and it’s very easy to get to. If we look at Facebook, we scroll up here, it’s under events and then, it’s not spaced out so you don’t really see what’s coming up or what’s going on.
But calendar, simple, easy, clean to use. And what you can do is just click on it, You can see when it starts. It has it for your time zone, and then it has the link that you that you can go, and then you can add it to your calendar if you want, and you’ve got all of these different options to add it to your calendar, but I really like that.
The next thing that I like is the email marketing aspect. You can send out an email to your. Community once every 72 hours. And it’s really simple. You simply will come up here, create a post, give your post a title, whatever you’re going to write, and then you can send an email to all members. Now, as you can see, you can do it once every 72 hours, but this is a way of email marketing without actually having to email market.
Ideally you do want to collect names and emails of your members, but if you don’t have that system set up just yet, this is a workaround. So the next thing that I like is that you can change the pricing for new members. And so the way that this works is right now, this community is free. If I wanted to change it to a dollar per month, I can come up here and do subscriptions, add a price, and then add a dollar or whatever the pricing is.
And so for everyone that joins after I change the price, Will be the new price. These people will continue to have this free level, but the people that join afterwards are going to be in the paid level. So that’s a great way to increase the price. As you start to get more people in the group, testimonials and social proof.
Let me give you an example. This guy, max premium, he, his group initially was like 97. He has since raised that to one 25. And you can see even here price increasing soon. So I think he increases the price like every month. It’s one of those cool things that you can do is you can simply just quickly and easily raise the price.
One, one cool thing there. So adding new features, I really liked the fact that they are adding maybe one new feature every month or every other month. Let me just put that right here. So let me give you an idea of the features that they’ve added recently. So under my community, a couple of things that they’ve added, we go to settings, they added the ability to unlock chat at level two before I would say maybe two, three months ago, as soon as someone joined a community, they would.
Immediately be inundated with spam from people that are just trying to, I call them bottom feeders, just trying to steal from the community. But you have to get to level two now in order to be able to use this feature. So it’s harder, it’s a little bit more difficult for scammers and spammers To to poach people because now in order to start sending DMS to people, they have to actually engage in the community and that takes more time.
And they feel like it’s a much easier just to spam. The other thing that they added, I think last month, yeah, last month or maybe early this month. The connecting of the meta pixel, which is really important if you plan on running ads directly to the community. So that’s really cool. So they’ve been adding new things, I would say every month or every other month.
I am excited to see what they are what they’re going to add. Hopefully they add the affiliate marketing aspect soon. That would be really cool. All right. So next is auto DMing new members as you can see there. So let me just paste that in. As you can see, One thing that I really like is you can send an instant message to anybody that joins and it’s not like it just automatically goes out.
They send it between one and five minutes. It’s limited to 300 characters. And so what you can do is you can start the conversation. So maybe I say hey, welcome to the group name. And then I can say something like we are, Excited to have you here.

I’m just going to say it is important. It is important that you post the question as soon as possible to make sure. You get the help you need. Okay, I might change that later, but I want to make sure that they post right away so that the more they post let’s say essential, the more they post the more they feel connected and they’ll keep coming back.
So I really liked that feature. It’s not something that’s available on Facebook or anywhere else that I know of. You must post. I don’t like that. Anyway.
